One Frame (work in progress)
I started to draw images that went along with a single caption. They are all fragments of a thought, story, or feeling.
“I lay with treasures and myths
waiting for angels or scoundrels to pull me level.”
“You
A deep breath within me, So precious and so fleeting
these soft walls collapse, moaning in anticipation for your return.”
This image was created for a friend. I had two different messages in mind when I created it. I gave one version to my friend as a gift. I am posting the other one here.
This was created as a gift for a family member that has lost one of their children.
These 2 were inspired by my friend Amy M. She ended an email with, “drawing little stars on the playground cement with mascarra so that the little ants crawling across it look like astronauts.” So, of course, I could not help but keep thinking about friggin’ ants in little space helmets. Thanks Amy!
