Ok…so, I can’t really explain, but I started to imagine some ideas for a Rat and a Bat. Somehow, I managed to end up sketching ideas for handbags and such. These are just some preliminary sketches and concepts. I am going to try to come up with some more detailed drawings and design concepts.

So, I decided to start making a few prototypes:

I chose the Gloom Rat and made a small “tin” bag. Essentially, I took an Altoid mint box and turned it into a small wallet. I also attempted to reproduce it using wool. They are pretty rough but a good start, I think. (yes, I know, these photographs are terrible…I suck with a camera.)

I have actually made some decent looking bags.  I am just not ready to post them.  I will update this post with some images soon enough.
